Matt is an Investment Director at Maven Cognition with over 20 years of early stage investment experience. He began his career at 3i before joining Omega’s specialist early stage secondary fund. At Jenson Funding Partners, Matt led a team of over 15 investment directors and observers, raising funds for a portfolio of 50+ companies. He also established an EIS scheme to complement their Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) product, using it to syndicate capital into the portfolio. Prior to joining Maven Cognition, Matt worked at a family office and became the investment lead at NVL, ahead of its acquisition
by Maven. Matt holds a Law degree from the University of Leeds and an MBA from the University of Warwick.
